Vegetation Contractor Induction

Essential Energy engages vegetation contractors to undertake inspection and trimming services.
This course is arranged on request. To discuss course requirements and scheduling, please contact Vegetation Operations.

Introduction:

Essential Energy is pleased to offer Essential Energy Safety Rules training for Contracted Service Providers (CSP).
This workshop aligns with National Refresher Units of Competency and is offered to eligible contracted workers.
This training supports a standardised approach for workers to maintain safety standards within electrical supply industry networks.

There is no fee associated with this training (max 6 participants)

LOCATION
This workshop is delivered online

EQUIPMENT
Participants require appropriate technology to access the workshop materials online.

AUTHORISATION
The training in Essential Energy's Safety Rules is a mandatory requirement for Authorisation.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received five working days prior to workshop or applicable charges may apply. Essential Energy reserves the right to reschedule any course if insufficient enrolments are received.
Workshops may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior. Should this occur, participants will be notified. Essential Energy will not be held liable for any claims arising from course cancellation.

Participants required to undertake this training as part of Essential Energy's Authorisation process.

  • UETDRMP002 - ESI safety rules for work on, near or in the vicinity of electrical apparatus

  • Awareness and information session with online written assessment.

Program Benefits:

  • Following successful completion of the training and assessment, participants will be issued a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment (SoA). This will be issued via post.
